Julian discovered his passion and natural talent for carpentry as a young apprentice in Vancouver, Canada. Early in his career he worked across many areas of construction including concrete, wood and metal framing, and both interior and exterior finishes, building a well-rounded foundation in the craft. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong commitment to building excellence and gave Julian a deep understanding of how each element of a project must come together to create a truly exceptional finished product.
In 2003, Julian and his family moved to Carmel, California. Soon after, he obtained his California contractor’s license and founded C.R. Buildworks, continuing his pursuit of high-quality craftsmanship and thoughtful construction.
