The state's history is deeply intertwined with wildfires, as they have been a natural part of its landscape for centuries. However, in recent years, California's wildfires have escalated into a pressing and devastating challenge, demanding comprehensive solutions to mitigate their impact.

CLIMATE CHANGE
One of the key factors contributing to the increasing frequency and intensity of California wildfires is climate change. Rising temperatures, prolonged droughts, and changing precipitation patterns have created the perfect conditions for wildfires to thrive. Dry vegetation becomes highly flammable, and when ignited, these fires can spread rapidly, engulfing vast areas of land.
2017 THOMAS FIRE

The 2017 Thomas Fire and the 2018 Camp Fire serve as stark reminders of the destructive potential of California wildfires. The Camp Fire was one of the deadliest and most destructive wildfires in the state's history, claiming lives and leaving behind a trail of devastation. In the initial "ignition" phase, the flames ignite dry vegetation, generating heat and combustion products. As the fire advances, it enters the "growth" stage, where it spreads and intensifies. The "crown" phase is particularly dangerous, as flames can leap from treetop to treetop, creating an inferno with extreme heat and rapid movement.

OUR WILDFIRE DEFENSE SYSTEMS

Currently C.R. Firewerks has several defense systems. The Motak, our fire defense trailer and a fully integrated system custom built to your property. Each option is built to handle different needs depending on wildfire threat analysis and tactical planning.

The Motak

A smaller and easier to maneuver hand operated option that allows the user to precisely cover more specific, narrow, and hard to access areas. It utilizes a handheld spray gun connected to a water/ gel system that can be towed in a hand cart or mounted to an all-terrain vehicle to allow for quicker deployment.

The Fire Defense Trailer

A more robust option utilizing a 500-gallon water capacity and multiple water cannons. It can cover a wider range, faster and more efficient. It offers multiple connection options and can work with hand help spray gun, stand mounted water cannons, or rear mounted water cannons that operate while being towed.

The Fire Defense System

A fully automated system custom built onto your home and/ or around the perimeter of your property that covers your home with flame suppressant. The system works though your phone to allow you to be proactive in protecting your property while simultaneously evacuating your family from danger.

FIRE SUPRESSANT

Our systems are specifically built to use in conjunction with a fire suppressant. When the suppressant is added to water it creates a gel that adheres to any surface and absorbs heat to protect structures from damage caused by direct flames. It's nontoxic, will not harm animals, environmentally safe and is powerful enough to use against class A fires.

STEPS
WHERE TO BEGIN

This is done in conjunction with a fire chief with years of experience in fire dynamics and fire threat analysis. This initial meeting is to determine the best strategy for fire prevention, including landscaping and building improvement recommendations to shore up hazards that allow wildfire to take hold.

We collect topography, water sources, building schematics, underground lines, and power supply information. After collecting all available data, we design a custom schematic to work specifically with your landscape. Each design has a custom vault used as the nerve center and failsafe for the system. The vault adds fire suppressant, directs flow, and adds pressure to the system to create a throw radius that surrounds your home in the fire suppressant.

During our construction phase our artisan construction team will keep you up to date on the construction progress and offer recommended build options that’ll help the system fit with the aesthetics of your property. Also, during this time we’ll make available for rent, our Fire Defense Trailer to protect your property until your system is complete.
